God has called each of us into a vibrant, authentic, and intimate relationship with Himself - to know Him, Who is Love, and enjoy the abundant life which overflows from that oneness with Him. Since 1 Corinthians 6:17 says that we are one spirit with Him, we are able to experience a precious closeness and intimacy with the Spirit of God, where His perfect, overwhelming love and joy and peace floods our hearts to overflowing. There is nothing to compare to the refreshing, restoring and renewing life of God that freely and vigorously rushes in and fills every chamber and crevice of our heart, soul, and body. When we take the time to give Him first place and allow Him to overwhelm us with His presence, willingly yielding all to Him, He softens hardened hearts, removes callous attitudes, roots out harboured bitterness and annihilates crouching doubt and fear. All the while filling and flooding us with Himself. His never failing love endures all things and causes us to flourish with His life. Set aside quality time with The One whose love for you is all consuming, constant and true. It will change everything about you and pave the way for you to walk in His light, provision and protection every place He leads you.
