Mightier Than The Noise

Even in the wildest tides, the loudest noise, or the most daunting of sights before us - the Lord is mightier! Whatever we may encounter in this journey of faith is not meant to overtake us; on the contrary, our intimate relationship with the Father and our faith in His Word is our constant victory. If you are feeling overwhelmed by what you're facing in life right now, there is a way to move from feeling like you're on a slippery slope to defeat, to being confidently victorious! All we need is a drastic change of perspective to focus on, and 1 John 5:4 is a great place to start! It says, "For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith." This verse says we are born of God, and that's the way we need to see ourselves. The Word says we have the full measure of God's Spirit living inside of us! Ephesians 1:3 says in Christ, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm! That tells us not only are we not alone, but we have all of heaven's support and resources backing us! Everything we need to overcome in this life has already been given to us. All we need to do is follow what the Holy Spirit instructs us to do, through His Word and remain faithful and consistent in it. Then we keep our focus on Him! We keep our minds and hearts full of His Word, we watch that every word that comes out our mouths lines up with His truth and not our circumstances and we choose to rejoice! As we enjoy and delight ourselves in Him, He infuses us with inner strength to stand strong in Him. While we do this, keeping a perspective of faith and not fear, we will experience the whisper of defeat being drowned out by the roar of victory! Today - refuse to be distracted by what's surrounding you in the natural, as you keep your eyes on the Lord, trust Him to take care of every detail. Nothing will overcome you - you, in God, are victorious over anything that comes your way.
