Understanding and experiencing the full measure of God's love for us will propel our faith into an exciting journey of freedom and joy in our personal relationship with Him. Too many Christians are so hung up on the issues of their lives that never seem to change because they have never truly embraced God's love for them and lived on in it. In Ephesians 3:18 the Apostle Paul expresses the importance for every believer to grasp and experience the breadth, length, height and depth of God's love for us. He describes it as something that is far greater than just head knowledge without experience. That's because it's something that causes us to be "...filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [having the richest measure of His divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!". Our highest goal should be to be perfected in God's love by embracing it. We do this by allowing the Word of God to take root in our lives and deliberately opening our hearts to the flow and power of the Holy Spirit; that's because Romans 5:5 says that God's love is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We must yield to that flow of His perfect love and let go of the fear that we've allowed to lurk inside our minds. It influences every though and action and contaminates every dream or vision for the future that the Lord lays before us. It's time to surrender to the Holy Spirit today, to open our hearts wide to the Word and embrace the never failing, all powerful, perfect love of God. It will expels the fear that hinders you, and set you free to live full in the life He has planned for you.
