Proverbs 4:22 tells us that God's Word is life and peace and healing to whoever finds it. When we find God's Word, it means we pay attention to its wisdom as we meditate on it, making it our own, and applying it practically to our lives. There is such power in the Word of God as it washes over our souls, cleansing impure thoughts and motives and refreshing us with its truth and hope. But did you know, that refreshing becomes amplified in our lives when we don't just hold onto it, but share it with others in the same love and passion we received it for ourselves? The Bible says those who water, they themselves will be watered and refreshed. That's such a brilliant truth to implement in our lives. As the Word of God transforms us, refreshes us, builds us up and sets us free, we pass it on to others, and in the process, we re-establish and solidify its influence on our lives, rooting us even deeper in its truth. Do you know why? Because faith comes from hearing and hearing the Word. When we speak to others, from the conviction of our hearts, about a specific truth that has impacted us, we hear those words come out of our mouths and it re-enforces and strengthens that truth and our faith. Once again, a supernatural cycle of blessing is set in motion to refresh and empower us! So don't contain what the Word of God is doing for you, share it generously with others and as you refresh and water their lives, you will be refreshed and watered all over again!
