We need to keep our eyes and ears fixed, focused and stayed on Jesus. According to James, the best testing of our faith is when hardships and adversity come. This is where we have no option but to turn our face off the challenge to look directly into the face of Jesus. When we come to the end of ourselves, we must take up His Word, and by His Spirit hold onto its truth as our only hope. Why His Word? Because it's a reflection of Him. He is our wisdom and peace. He is our strong tower and shelter. He is our joy that infuses us with strength. He is our reason for living, as much as we were His reason for dying. When you embrace the Holy Spirit Who lives in you, His grace will be sufficient for you. He will make Jesus real to you, establish and bring you to maturity in Him, and be your partner to come alongside you and provide you with supernatural help. Choose to abide in Jesus and let your faith in Him be proven and perfected. Let Jesus, your champion be the One Who causes you to stand and overcome.
