If there is someone you have been praying for, for some time now, to come to know the saving grace of Jesus, and there just doesn't seem to be a breakthrough; don't give up. It's true that God will never force someone to come to Him against their will. The fact of the matter is, there are demonic forces that are ceaselessly working against their salvation. The Word of God says the devil blinds the minds of unbelievers, blocking their perception of the truth. That means their decision to not accept Christ has not really been a free choice. If it wasn't for the devil's manipulation, there would be nothing holding them back from running to Jesus. Kenneth Hagin tells how he had been praying for his brother to receive Christ for years. The more he prayed God would save him, the further his brother seemed to stray. Then one day the Holy Spirit spoke to Mr. Hagin and showed him from the Word that he had every right to interfere with satanic forces and command the devil to stop deceiving his brother, preventing him from entering the kingdom of God. So he changed the way he was praying, stood in his God-given authority, that every believer has been given, and commanded the evil spirit that was blinding the spiritual eyes of his brother to stop what he was doing, in the Name of Jesus. Then he exercised his faith to change the circumstances around his brother, praying that God would send people who would be an effective witness to him. Within ten days, his brother surrendered his life to the Lord. You see, in Matthew 28:18, Jesus said, "...All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.". Then he immediately transferred that authority to every believer. You can do the same thing to see the lost come into the kingdom. Don't allow the devil to manipulate them any longer. Exercise your authority and expect to see the results!
