The Word never promised that living God's way would be the popular choice. On the contrary, seeking Him first and living after His kingdom principles will more than often go directly against the grain of what society demands. Jesus warned us that there will be times where we are tempted to compromise our faith and give into the pressure of what the world regards to be acceptable. But we have the Spirit of God living inside us. We have the nature of our Heavenly Father and delight to know and do His good and perfect will. The Bible clearly tells us that everything pertaining to God is good and following His way is the more excellent choice. We are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. So stand strong in who you are in Christ Jesus, remember that His light and love and life must flow out of you with supernatural power to see the darkness pushed back and God's kingdom truth established. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, "But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,". Verse 17 says, we are not, like so many, peddling God's Word by shortchanging and adulterating the divine message; but we are people of sincerity and the purest motive, commissioned and sent by God, we speak His message in Christ, in the sight and presence of God! So let's be careful to stand strong for what we know is right, remembering Who we represent. Romans 1:16 tells us to not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, because it's God's power working for the salvation of everyone who believes, with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance! Don't shrink back, endure to the end - you will never be ashamed for doing so.
