Our lives are living statements of who we have surrendered ourselves to. It's very easy to recognize if someone has given their life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and embraced the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that if we are truly born-again, the way we speak and act, in and out of church, will testify to it. When we accepted Jesus Christ into our lives, the Bible says that the Spirit of God recreated our spirits, causing them to take on the nature of God Himself. Since we have His nature in us, we have no appetite or desire for sin. Instead, our hearts long for, and delight to walk after God's interests. Like Jesus, we love righteousness and despise evil, and this becomes evident in everything we do, and infiltrates into the company we keep. If your heart is truly born-again, then your lifestyle choices will clearly demonstrate this. You were saved from darkness and eternal separation from knowing God, to be His light and carry His nature to the world around you. Decide to live strong, and boldly demonstrate the nature of God that is in you. Be the salt of the earth, and carry the fragrance of knowing Him everywhere you go.
