This portion of scripture is so powerful. When we are rooted and grounded securely in the knowledge of how much God loves us, His power inside us is activated to carry out His purpose for our lives. In other words, having a revelation of how much we are loved and treasured by God is key to having His power go to work inside of us, on our behalf. Our relationship with God and His Word cannot be based on a mechanical formula or driven by any form of good works. It is based on experiencing His love for us in accordance to what the Word says. And when we respond to His love by faith, He promises to fill and flood our lives with His power. That power has a specific purpose to do super abundantly more than all we dare ask or think. In fact the original Greek translation says, that power is able to do infinitely beyond our highest, most faith filled prayers, hopes or dreams! If we are going to live the kind of superabundant life God has already made available for us, it's time we begin to focus on knowing and experiencing Him and His love for us based on what His Word teaches us. The only way to do that is by falling in love with His Word. Jesus said we truly love Him, when we put as much value on His Word as we do on knowing Him. We must trust and live in His Word, as we trust and live in Him. We simply can't separate the two because Jesus is the Word. It's time to live big in Him, so take up His Word and hold it in high regard, because it is essentially Him. Then, watch how the revelation of His love for you begins to flood your being and activate His power inside of you, carrying out His superabundant purpose in and through you!
