Faith is the most powerful force on the earth! Many Christians are oblivious to how powerful it actually is. Since faith has the power to adjust every circumstance, causing it to come into line with God's will, we can continuously put it into action and purposefully bring change to every area of our lives. In fact, understanding that everything begins in the spirit realm before it's manifest in the natural, should be motivation enough to grow, nurture and activate our faith in this world. Two very important keys to growing and activating our faith are firstly to invest our time in the Word of God. When we give ourselves to studying and meditating on its truth, depending on the Holy Spirit to reveal it's wisdom to us, and make it alive in our hearts, faith is produced. A great 'tell-tale' sign of this, is the wonderful joy and peace we experience as the Word becomes faith to us. The second key is to act out that faith in love. The Bible teaches us that faith only works by love. We can have the faith to move mountains, but if it's not motivated by God's love in us, it's useless. While there is harboured unforgiveness, or resentment in our hearts, or if our prayers are contaminated with worry and fear, faith is inoperable. It's always a good decision to go before the Lord, just as David did, ask Him to thoroughly search every part of our hearts, and if there is anything unpleasing to Him, have His Spirit show us, so we can release it immediately to Him. This way we can effectively activate our faith and see God's will become our manifest reality.
