Take it by Force

Passivity is not part of the Christian character. God's Word teaches us to never settle for the mindset of "whatever happens, happens". No, God has given those who are called by His Name, every son, and every daughter, a kingdom mandate. This mandate calls us to be His ambassadors on the earth, to carry His powerful light and life and love wherever we go. Like bright lights in a dark world, we are to hold out His Word of truth to all men, showing them the way of life and peace and freedom in Christ. So, even though we are in this world, we are not of this world - we are citizens of an eternal kingdom. Our mandate is to take territory back from the devil, deliberately, by force for the kingdom of God. The Greek word for the phrase, "to take by force" is "lambano" and it literally means "to seize with a grip that cannot be shaken off." Today, determine to keep the Word of God in your heart and have your words line up with what it says, and do not let go until you see the what it has promised become your reality. It is impossible for its healing, restoring and transforming power to not be fulfilled (Luke 1:37).
