Love chooses to believe the best about people. God knows that we are susceptible to evil thoughts and deeds. That's why He has given us His Word of truth that has the power to renew our minds and transform our characters to be like His. This is His grace and mercy towards us, and it's what He believed for us while we were lost in sin. Because of His great love for us, Jesus approached the cross with a real hope, a clear and vivid mental picture, that one day, we would accept His grace and be alive and free in Him! His love for us caused Him to believe the best in us, that we would surrender to His will and be made whole, forever changed and living victoriously as His own. Because His Spirit is alive in us today, it's only right that we should let His love flow in and through us, causing us to believe the best in others too. Don't give up on them, because love refused to give up on us.
