As seeds of Abraham, we have inherited the blessing of the Lord. That means we should not be subject to poverty, sickness or lack of any kind. Even though the devil, our enemy, has been defeated and stripped of all power to harm us; he will never stop trying to steal away what rightfully belongs to us. The more we familiarise ourselves with what the Word of God says is ours, we can stand in faith against the devil's tactics to rob us. Through adoption, God has made us heirs of the promises and blessing of Abraham; and the blessing of a new, far better covenant with Jesus Christ. Spend time finding out who you are in Christ and what the cross has won for you. That way you won't sit back and accept the devil stealing from you, you will stand your ground in faith and live in the freedom made available by Jesus.
