Wisdom has a voice and carries a sound of kindness. God's Word is wisdom, and when we lay it up in our hearts and speak its truth and give its counsel, we must remember that its power lies in love being its motivation. God is love, and when He breathed life into the scriptures, His love became the ingredient by which His Word would work. Just as faith, without love is fruitless, God's wisdom on our lips, without a heart of love, is lifeless. So, when we speak words of wisdom, let's make every word weighty with what is wholesome, kind, loving, and compassionate; knowing full well that it carries the power to touch and change lives.
