We must be careful to prevent bitterness from growing in our hearts. Don't even give it the time of day, because it has the power to destroy your life if you let it. It comes from a seed of unforgiveness that festers and grows and produces trouble, not only for us, but it corrupts many other people we associate with. Go before the Lord today, ask Him if there is anyone you need to forgive, then by His power that is already in you, release them, and let that destructive force of bitterness go.
