What a privilege it is to call upon the Lord! When we diligently seek Him, and consistently delight ourselves in His presence and draw from the wisdom of His Word, He becomes closer to us than a brother. When we make spending time with Him a constant priority, during good times, we can be sure that in the hard times, it won't be difficult to find Him. We will be so accustomed to looking to Him, and drawing near to His presence, that it will seem like second nature to us. Don't allow anything to distract you from being vitally connected to the Lord. Let nothing pull you away from your dependency on Him. Train your senses to pursue His presence and enter His rest, so that in your time of need, you will be found strong and peaceful, hidden in Him.
