It was easy to be impressed by Saul's looks, his stature, height, and his outside appearance. But when the tests of character came, he fell horribly short. God had Saul replaced by David, who in physical traits, may have been less becoming than Saul. However, his heart and devotion towards God, far outshone his predecessor's attributes. Choosing to live his life God's way, caused David to be known as a man after God’s own heart. We can live and leave that same legacy too. Let your heart follow after God, and see Him work His perfect will in you.
