A Silent God?

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert
Saturday, 20 May 2017 | Reading taken from Job 30:20

Job knew great suffering. His deepest suffering, however, was that in his painful experience and his deepest need, he called to God – and felt he received no response. But God was listening. He never took His attention off of Job, He did answer Him and showed him the true character of his heart. In spite of Job's conceit and self righteousness, God never allowed him to drift beyond His love and care. As a result, Job's repentant heart caused him to be blessed far beyond what he could ever dream or imagine. Like Job, when you truly see God, you will find He is not silent.
