Training in Godliness

We place much emphasis on physical fitness, but training in godliness is also of great value. An athlete trains hard so that his muscles, heart and lungs are fit and strong enough to compete and win a prize. Training in godliness means stepping up our devotion towards spending time with the Lord in His presence and His Word. It prepares our minds, bodies, and hearts for victorious, supernatural living - right here on earth and for eternity. Keep the devil on his back foot as you advance - fighting the good fight of faith as a well trained, highly skilled soldier.
