Forsaken

Matthew 27:46 (NKJV)

As an innocent man, Jesus took the sin of the world upon Himself. He faced death and the horror of the demonic realm alone. Not only was He forsaken by those He poured His life into, His own Father had to turn His face from Him. He gave His all, willingly and sacrificially so that we might gain everlasting life! He suffered the pain of rejection and loneliness so that we would never have to face being alone. His selfless giving allows us to embrace His promise, that by Him, we will NEVER be forsaken.
