Betrayed

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert

Matthew 26:16

Judas' betrayal was no bigger than Peter's. We could argue that his suicide was an indication of the terrible remorse and shame he was burdened with, that it was too much for him to bear. What brought a man, who knew the Son of God, so intimately, to this place? Over time, Judas allowed his desire for selfish gain to overshadow His love and trust He had in Jesus. He gave into the lie that caused him to mistrust the good character of God. And in the end, he lost it all. Let's determine to stay vitally connected to Jesus, to not be led away from the truth of His Word.
