Set Apart

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert

Leviticus 20:7-8

It is generally assumed that a “holy” life implies a sad farewell to all forms of joy and happiness. The truth is, holiness means being set apart. God is holy because He is set apart from all creation. Nothing and no one compares to Him. He is higher and greater, on every single level. Yet, He calls us to Himself. He pours His perfect love into our hearts and makes us one with Him. His heart becomes our heart, His thoughts ours and His actions are displayed in our every act of unselfish kindness. Our lives enveloped in His, yielded to His goodness, makes us holy, set apart by Him, for Him, to draw others to Him.
