Staying true

Matthew 5:32 (NIV)

The Jews had a tradition that a husband could divorce his wife if he found anything unbecoming in her. He could divorce her even if the food she made was not to his liking! Jesus made it clear that commitment to a marriage covenant should be far more secure and lasting. When two people are completely surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, they will follow His example of humility and unconditional love, keeping their marriage fruitful and lasting.
