Romans 12:14 (NIV)
The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Rome, instructing them to live in peace – even with those who persecuted them. The Roman Government and soldiers had a reputation for being very cruel and did not take kindly to Christians living in their territories. So his instruction to bless those responsible for their misery, deemed quite a challenge to the believers. But God's perfect love in us for others, casts out all fear and makes a way for His grace to do its powerful work in our lives and the lives of those who persecute us, leading them to salvation.
