1 Corinthians 1:26-27 (NLT): "...God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful."
Throughout the Bible, we read accounts where God uses the most unlikely individuals to fulfil extraordinary tasks. The prerequisite to being used by the Lord is not status or an impressive intelligence. It's not dependent on accomplishments either. Instead, He chooses to move through those whose hearts are fully devoted to and reliant on Him. Those who understand they can do nothing of significance without Him, and possess great faith to see Him do exactly what His Word promises, experience His supernatural power work mightily in them. 2 Chronicles 16:9 tells us the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward Him. That word perfect means wholeheartedly devoted to Him. If that's you, then you are qualified to have Him work mightily in and through you by His Spirit. Yield yourself to Him and He will live out His purpose in you, in ways far greater than you could have ever dreamed or imagined.
