Matthew 10:38(NKJV): “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.”

We are living in the days where Kingdom culture is being sedated by personal preferences, and calling it truth. Sadly, spiritual terms are created to validate Christian dysfunction which invites compromise and mediocrity into the life of the believer. That’s why it’s imperative to be intentional when it comes to living out our God-given purpose. Purpose is who God designed  for us to be, and what He planned for us to do before the foundation of the earth took place.  It’s our destiny that was carefully conceived by our loving and perfect Creator. Preference is where we align ourselves with one option over another.  If we truly understood and trusted the extent of the goodness and faithfulness of God, and His selfless nature to give us everything that is beneficial and only for our best - there would be not contest between choosing His plan over our own. Our preference would be to lay down our lives to follow Him.  When we are captivated by Who our God truly is - His purpose for us becomes our preference. Choose today to take up your cross and follow Jesus wholeheartedly as your gaze is fixed on Him.  This way your preference will easily be His purpose, and your life will shine His glory for eternity.
