Let Grace Abound

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NKJV): "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

When you know God has called you to do something for His kingdom but have no idea how you are going to get the resources to accomplish it, it's time to access the grace of God! The word grace in this verse is referring to the supernatural empowerment of God. This empowerment is the same as the blessing of the Lord spoken of in Proverbs 10:22, that makes us rich and adds no toil or sorrow with it. When we access it, it supernaturally empowers us to prosper and breaks every barrier of limitation over our lives. This empowerment to prosper, is a privilege that formed part of Abraham's covenant agreement with God (Genesis 22:17). It's the very same privilege that was carried through the finished work of the cross into the new covenant we have in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:14). We walk in the reality of this supernatural grace the same way Abraham did - by faith and obedience! The verses leading up to this promise of empowering grace to meet all our needs, give the instructions that result in the promise becoming our reality. They say we are to give on purpose, with a cheerful heart! When we do this, we can trust the Word to go to work as our covenant agreement is activated. Your obedience to give into God's kingdom, with a heart full of joyful faith will cause all the supernatural grace you need for the provision to get things done!
