2 Kings 20:6 (NLT): "I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will rescue you and this city from the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for My Own honor and for the sake of My servant David."
There was a time when King Hezekiah became deathly ill, and received a message to get all his affairs in order before he died. With this news, he went into his inner room and boldly prayed to the Lord. Hezekiah had an intimate relationship with God and served Him all his life. He confidently reminded God of his faithfulness towards His Kingdom. Immediately God answered his prayer and granted Hezekiah fifteen more years to serve Him on earth. The key to receiving God's supernatural intervention in impossible circumstances is living a life that is devoted to Him. When we fully abide in the Lord, and His Word remains alive in our hearts, we can ask anything of Him, and He will do it (John 15:7). Today, hear the Spirit as He reminds you that God alone has the final say over your life and future. Stand firm in faith to obtain every promise of God over your life. God is bringing you through this season with triumph, for His glory! Praise Him for the victory and see with your own eyes how He turns all things around and makes a way where there seems to be no other.
