Job 8:7 (NIV): "Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be."
The beginning of a thing is very important because it serves as the foundation upon which everything else stands. No matter how small the beginning of something you step out to do is - if it's done in faith-filled obedience, with a grateful heart - it will gain momentum and succeed. If you want to see a change in the direction of your marriage relationship, it takes one step of faith-filled obedience, and a grateful heart, to begin the process of change. That small step is a giant leap in the right direction and it will release a fresh flow of the wisdom, strength and every benefit of the presence of God in your life and marriage. If change is needed in your finances, a small step of faith-filled obedience to tithe and give into God's kingdom, with a grateful heart, will cause His covenant blessing of provision to pour into your life. God's original intent for man is perpetual increase, going from one degree of glory to the next. Jesus paid the ultimate price to give us access to a kingdom life - where we live in the atmosphere and provision of heaven, in every area of our lives. It begins with a total surrender and trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God - where we choose faith-filled obedience, with a grateful heart, aligning our lives with His Word - one step at a time!
