1 Corinthians 1:9 (AMP):"God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise-He can be depended on]..."

There may be times we think God isn't answering our prayers as we expect Him to. This by no means indicates that He isn't faithful. We may not fully understand why things happen as they do, but one thing we can settle on, is that God is faithful and will always honour His Word concerning us. Sometimes, believers change their doctrine and make excuses when things didn't turn out the way they expected. But we are warned in 1 Timothy 1:4, that this only leads away from the truth and compromises our faith. It says to not "...foster and promote useless speculations and questionings rather than... leaning the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence." Sometimes we are meant to cooperate with God to see the promise fulfilled. God promised to save Noah and his family, but Noah and his sons had to build the ark. God promised He would deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, but Moses had to confront Pharaoh and closely follow God's instructions to see that promise fulfilled. Trust the Holy Spirit to reveal your role in seeing His promise fulfilled in your life. Don't let unbelief get in the way - God always honours His Word!
