Daniel 3:18 (NKJV): "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

Daniel chapter 3 gives us the account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the three Hebrew boys who refused to bow to the dictates of culture. They believed ONLY in the God of Israel and refused to compromise their faith. It's remarkable that they were unwilling to compromise, even if God chose to not preserve them from the fiery furnace. They trusted His judgement more than they loved their lives. Their hearts were completely devoted to God. The Bible says the eyes of the Lord search across the earth to find those whose hearts are perfect towards Him, so He can show Himself strong in their midst. They are bold and unashamed believers who are prepared to stand for Him no matter the cost. Believers who refuse to be intimidated or influenced by the demands of a society that unashamedly disregards His ways! Today, take a stand for Christ; treasure His Word and follow wholeheartedly after His ways. Focus on pleasing Him alone, doing what He desires, and you will see Him move mightily in and through your life.
