Acts 10:42 (NLT): "And He ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the One appointed by God to be the judge of all-the living and the dead."

The most compelling tool to spread the gospel is a testimony of a personal encounter with the Living God. In the fourth chapter of John, a Samaritan woman had a life changing, unexpected visit with Jesus. After just one conversation, her life was completely transformed. She ran into town, bursting with joy and excitement! She told everyone about the man who knew everything about her and offered her life. He would be the living water that would cause her to never thirst again. Her testimony was so compelling the entire town flocked to meet Jesus - each one wanting to know the Messiah for themselves. The church today has some pretty effective evangelistic tools, but none are as effective as a life overflowing with the joy and wonder of personally meeting and knowing Jesus. As you spend time with your Saviour today, drink deeply of His living water, as you read the truth of His Word. Let it satisfy your soul and fill you with peace. The joy that comes from being in His Presence will spontaneously bubble up and flow out of you, making you a compelling testimony of His life-giving goodness, wherever you go.
