Luke 6:45 (NLT): "A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart."

The Bible teaches that the core of our hearts produces a quality of treasure. Depending on what we store in the fundamental chambers of our conscious hearts, we can determine if that treasure is good or evil in nature. If we are born-again with the Spirit of God, we have taken on His nature which is only good. It stands to reason that it's our responsibility to be sure to not contaminate that good treasure with anything that is not of God, or contrary to His nature. Choose to keep your heart filled with the good treasure that comes from knowing God and delighting in His Word. The more we pay attention to His ways we fill ourselves with His loving kindness, purity, goodness, righteousness, humility and unequalled spiritual strength. A heart full of and overflowing with good treasure has the ability to love and act like God, and will always produce good things. So keep your heart filled with the treasure that can only come from being in Him.
