Anything But Ordinary

1 Peter 2:9 (AMP): "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people..."

In case you thought you were nothing special, God's Word says the contrary. You are not ordinary at all. The book of Genesis reveals that you have been created in the very image and likeness of God. Peter says you are part of a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a special or peculiar people. In other words, in this world you stand out! That's because when we are born-again, the Spirit of God creates in us a brand new nature that resembles His Own. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. One translation explains this as our spirits being laminated to God's own Spirit. We are carriers of the supernatural power of God that operates in every circumstance, beyond natural limitations or understanding. A Christian is the most powerful creature on earth! It's time to get into the Word and educate yourself on the power that resides in you. This way you can explore and exercise your God-given authority, and flow in the supernatural power of God to stand out and be a blessing to those searching for a different answer to bring them hope.
