The message couldn't be clearer in this portion of scripture - while we remain plugged in, and vitally connected to Jesus, spending quality time in His Word and in fellowship with Him, He will produce in us, lasting qualities that cause us to prosper. Because God's Word is alive and full of power for anyone who engages in it and embraces its truth, it doesn't just enter our hearts and minds without causing change. Our relationship with Jesus and His Word transforms everything about us from the inside out. As a result, we approach life differently to before. We are empowered to live on purpose for His purpose, and our lives become fruitful and productive. Our source of life and spiritual fruit is not from ourselves; its from our inseparable connection to Jesus. As we yield to the leading of His Spirit inside us, He constantly reaffirms that we are His and places inside us a confidence and desire to do His will. It is only when we are connected to Him in faith that we can live full and serve him effectively. Stay connected to your source of life today.
