Jesus promised to stay closer to us than a brother, and since His very Spirit lives within us, and has promised to abide in us forever, we will never be alone. But God never intended for us to live out His purpose on earth without a family either. From the point of our salvation, we were adopted into the family of God. We have spiritual brothers and sisters who carry His love and life and light within them too. We are meant to help each other along this journey and to build each other's faith. We extend grace and compassion when one of us stumbles, and together, we push on to victory. When we are in unity in the Spirit, God not only commands His Blessing over us, but we are a strong and powerful force to be reckoned with against the kingdom of darkness. Determine today to let the true character of Christ be reflected through you to your spiritual brothers and sisters. Let God's unconditional love be what binds you together, stronger than ever. We need each other, that's the way God designed us to be. So let's be quick to forgive and quick to extend God's love to each other.
