Love is Kind

We know that God is love, and since He lives in us, His love does too. In fact, God’s love is what makes up our spiritual DNA. The Word teaches us that to have our reborn spirits influence our natural lives, we must constantly renew our minds to who we are, now that we are new creatures in Christ. Unless we understand what God's love looks and acts like, even though our spirits are made up of it, we will never have the faith to expect God's love to operate in our lives. God's Word says that His love is patient and kind. That means His attitude of being generous, warm and considerate to others is active in us. Choosing to be unselfish by being patient with others is a quality of God's love that is in us too. In fact, both kindness and patience are attributes that have the ability to attract people to the person of Jesus inside of you. Instead of living for yourself today, set your mind on the truth of Who you belong to and let His love set the president for all you do. Allow His kindness and patience to flow strong in and through you, as you treat others with the same quality of character He treats you.
