Love, by God's standard, always has the recipients best interests at heart. It seeks to bring joy to the one it's extended to. So when we choose to love God, not for self gain, but to bring Him joy, we can be sure it touches His heart. To truly love God, is to know Him, and when we do, we find there is no possible way to escape His goodness towards us! Let's determine to spend the rest of our days knowing the character of God as our first priority. We will find ourselves falling deeply in love with Him and all His ways. We love Him because He first loved us. A spontaneous outflow of our sincere love for God, is His love reciprocated in all we are and everything we put our hands to. That's how we discover that all things really do work together for our good as we love and are loved by the God Who has our best interests at heart.
