Faith by Love

According to the Apostle Paul, there is a strong connection between faith and love. We know faith without works is dead, but if we aren't completely confident that God loves us, the things we do will be fruitless. Everything about faith in God is tied to His love, because He is love. We simply can't separate the two. God's love for us and in us, is the ingredient that activates and energizes our faith. And as that faith rises up in our hearts, and we act on it, by doing what the Lord tells us to do, it will always have an outward expression of love. That's because there is no fear in love, and when our confidence is based on God's love for us, our faith will never fail. Great faith is birthed from and sustained by God's great love that we know and experience in our hearts. And did you know, the best way to see faith and love go to work in and through us, is through thankfulness! As we cultivate an atmosphere of gratitude and thankfulness in our lives, faith and love abounds. A grateful heart, and mouth that constantly overflows with sincere, thankful praise to the Lord, will cause faith and love to rise up strong inside us, and flow out, like a mighty river of life and peace. Nothing will be able to stand in the path of that spiritual force, that restores, renews and provides every area of our lives with God's goodness and blessing! So become thankful, always, and watch faith and love go to work!
