When we choose to meditate on the truth of God's Word, it's wisdom, life and peace, has great influence on the way we regard life. We begin to understand things from God's own perspective, and see others through His eyes of love. When our minds are fixed on the wisdom of God, they will always influence the words we speak. Our words will be sincere and in harmony with God's heart for others, continually building, healing and giving life. The opposite stands true for us when we choose to keep our minds on things that are not God's Word. Even though they appear to be harmless, if they don't carry His truth and life, they will influence our thoughts to stray from His opinion and will. Slowly but surely, we find our words taking on a different course. We become careless and say destructive things over our own lives and others. The challenge is, whatever we say, if we say it long enough, will reap results that correspond to our words. If we understood the vital necessity of keeping our minds grounded and rooted in the life giving truth of God's Word, we would pay far more attention to it. Our words bear the evidence of what our minds are full of, and our lives demonstrate their power over us. Decide to keep your thoughts and words in harmony with God's Word. The results are life changing!
