It is precious to know that the Lord has promised to be our place of safety. When we form a mental picture or image of this promise before us, and constantly keep our focus on its truth, no matter what threats surround us, we will have peace. This world we live in presents dangers that constantly threaten our safety and well being. Not only ours, but those we love too. When we find ourselves dwelling on those dangers, it's easy for us to fall prey to worry and fear. But if we choose to always set the Lord before us, keeping in the front of every thought, the truth that He has promised to be our safety and our defender, we won't be moved. We will stay secure and at peace, resting in the steadfast hope and quiet confidence, that we are safe and secure in Him. Refuse to give into fear today, choose to fill your thoughts with the Lord and His promises concerning you, and you will live in peace.
