From a very early age, Josiah began seeking after the God of David. At the age of 12, he began to clean up and purge his town of its connection with wickedness and idolatry. His deliberate actions brought his nation back to their God. As we continually allow the Holy Spirit to search our hearts and we keep our lives full of the revelation knowledge of God's Word, a purging takes place. Sin, fear and bondage of any kind, has no hold on us as the life and power of God releases faith and peace in and through us. Like Josiah, our determination to follow after God will mark not only ours, but destinies beyond ourselves.
