Whose friend are you?

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert

James 4:4

Being "a friend of the world" means to be everything that God is not. Selfishness, fear and shame are but a few of the traits that dominate that kind of life. But those who accept Jesus as personal Saviour, become more than just friends of God, they are His children and heirs of His kingdom. When God looks at us, He sees the redemptive work of His Son, when the world looks at us; they should see the image of God's grace, His love and lives resembling His good character.
